Community Service

So last week I had the opportunity to leave work a little early and go participate in a community service project. We cleaned a DISGUSTING house so that a single mom and her kids could move into it. It was through a group called Save the Family and in 1.5 hours, we cleaned and re-painted a 2 bedroom house! It was pretty neat!

Me and three of some of my close friends from work: Amanda, Jessica and Katelin

The Entire Group of General Mills employees that volunteered.

When I was younger, my parents owned an apartment complex in south SLC. It was ghetto! After a tenant would move out, my mom would make our family go clean them. *Note: My mom's nickname from her sister is NANCY NEATBALL. So we had to work hard!* Anyway...I felt like I was back at the apartments again with how disgusting this place was. But with the apartments, it would take like 2 days. But with 25+ people=1.5 hours. MAN.

Anyways, it was great to help the community!
